Bismillah,
Hello food hunter! So I would like to recommend foods that i have tried around bangi, for those who are staying in bangi, or those who gonna travel to bangi. Well, food is subjective, some of you gonna like it, some of you don't. But there is no harm to give it a try. Honestly i haven't try all the coffees or restaurants that we have in bangi. My favourite has always been cake, dessert, and pasta. But of course i like japanese and korean dishes too.
Well, if you are such a big fan of korean food, you might as well stop by at Milk Moustache Cafe in bangi, at kajang mewah. Basically the only korean cafe that i like so far. Affordable but not in the daily meal budget. If you happen to stop by, i suggest that you give it a try on Bulgogi rice. I love the spice for the beef, and since it is paired up with scramble egg, who can resist it?
Then for the pasta, well, it is common to have marinara, bolognese, carbonara, cheese and such. But if you love spicy, you should stop by at Zawara Cafe located in Bangi Sentral and try their spagetti spicy crab meat. I love the crab meat and the spiciness. It is beyond common!
While for dessert or churros in specific. I would recommend you to stop by at Wondermilk at IOI city and try out their caramel with oreo. Wallah! The perfectly fine crunchy churros will make u smile in wonder, why do you feel familiar with the caramel sauce? I personally think it tastes the same as Garrett caramel.
For malaysian dessert, like cendol, I love the sago cendol from Sepiring. You can find it in IOI city or even the MInes. Well, who dont love cendol for their sweetness and icy galore. But this cendol gave me different taste of sugar. You can definitely taste the different of "gula bakar".
If you are a fan of chinese food, you might as well go to Homst at Bangi Getaway. One of the chinese food heaven. I recommend you to try out the dumpling prawn soup if you love seafood. One of the worthy prawn to be eaten. Haha.
Lastly, if you are a fan of chicken and you have the 'kampung' appetite you should go try ayam kampung at Seksyen 7. The ayam kampung itself is good and name it all the lemak pucuk ubi and others. Definitely will remind you of kampung chicken. Haha.
What about coffee? Well, i admit, i'm a coffee lover to the extent that I tried to learn to be a barista. But i haven't find the best coffee in town. Coffee is not about drinking the same type of it. Sometimes you feeling mocha, sometimes you feeling latte. So i'll reserve coffee recommendation on other post.
To end this food post, i would like to remind us to be grateful for whatever food that come across our stomach and not saying "tak sedap" or such, since it is not even sunnah taught by Rasulullah SAW. Nor will i say that i'm very choosy in food, but i like to share the joy of good delicacies to people, since i like it. I firmly believe in the motion, Food bring joy and happiness. :p
