Things i fling myself into
8:42 PM
Towards the end of my previous semester break, i decided to take my IELTS (academic) due to my passion in pursuing further study in a particular field. To be honest, i have never thought that this dream could become reality. Maybe, if you decently followed this blog since beginning, you would notice my intention to study abroad. Well, i mentioned it 4 years ago, right after i finish my high school.
However, it has been a long lost dream as i made up my mind to focus on studying locally after all, I'm going to stuck in UTP for 5 years. Then, towards the end of my degree study, my dad suggested to continue my master, since well i don't really have any plan to get married soon. Thus, i just go for it.
So here i am today, getting my result certificate of my IELTS from the KL British Council. As I walk to the building right in the heart of KL, i felt overwhelm. Sometimes, it feels surreal, to do this. Memories sneak out of my eyes, and roll down my cheeks, unexpectedly. I'm so proud seeing my reflection, with the thought of "what a grown up girl i am."
The result is not so impressive, but Alhamdulillah for the blessings.
The journeys are still far, but as a wise person, we need to always plan ahead. Always have numbers of option or backup plan. Mom always say, "those who fail to plan, plan to fail."
As i went to the IDP Australia exhibition (twice), i feel so happy, because my dad has always been there to send me and of course support me. He has been my backbone with mom together, supporting whatever their children want to go for. I thank Allah for all the blessings and i would appreciate every moments with them. Without them, i couldn't imagine, how far can i go.
