My fav custard pudding~~yum33

Very quick post on my grandma's recipe this time, since it is one of my favourite desserts so i learned to make one, but just posting it here, to share with others, and also a back up, if i forgot.

Ok, so the ingredients:

To make the pudding:
+one cup of custard powder
+four cup of water
+lil salt (to make it berlemak, as my grandma said) / one spoon of sugar

To make the custard sauce:
+one tin of evaporated milk
+fifteen spoon of sugar
+two spoon of custard powder
+two cup of water
+one egg


So basically we gonna make the pudding first, because it will need sometime to cool down so that it will be solidified. So before you open the gas, just mix custard powder with water until the powder dissolved. Then, stir(keep stirring to avoid lump of the powder) it on a slow fire until the mixture become shiny and sticky but not to solid, just between solid and liquid. Then, pour the mixture in your acuan plastik. depends, sometimes my grandma pour in a bowl to make a big pudding. So it is up to you. Then let it cool down (not in the fridge---since it still hot), but once it is cool, you can put in the fridge, to keep it.

Next, the sweet sauce! Love it so much. So first, beat your egg until it mix. Then mix it with the evaporated milk. Then put it on the slow fire, while pour in the sugar, water, and the custard powder. But keep stirring it, to avoid the sugar from burnt. Put off the fire when the sugar is fully dissolved, and look concentrated (it supposed to be concentrated since we put the custard powder).

So here you goes! The simple dessert recipe~

You can enjoy it with the can fruits also, or ice~ ^^ So refreshing in this hot summer.
